Howard Janet

In addition, Mr. Janet has expanded the rights of victims of medical malpractice by advocating and winning decisions that broadened the statute of limitations for wrongful death claims and established the right of brain damaged children to be compensated for future medical expenses when their parents' claims for those expenses are precluded by the statute of limitations.
Mr. Janet also has successfully represented people who received improper representation by their prior medical malpractice attorneys. Mr. Janet is a past president of the Gary I. Strausberg Foundation, Inc., a private, nonprofit institution dedicated to "the professional education of the legal community and the education of the public on issues of safety, the civil justice system, and the role of the jury." Moreover, Mr. Janet has previously served as a Governor of the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association and is a member of the MTLA President's Club as a Founder. Mr. Janet is a member of the Maryland Bar and the Bar of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.
