Our Legal Team

Dianna M. Morris

Dianna Morris practices in the Pharmaceutical Mass Tort division of the firm and focuses primarily on Vioxx, Hormone Therapy and Gadolinium. Ms. Morris brings to the Med Law Legal Team experience representing both plaintiffs and defendant health care providers in medical and dental negligence cases. Her experience working with health care defendants gives her a unique perspective when prosecuting and settling claims on behalf of the seriously injured.

Ms. Morris is a member of the American Association for Justice; the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association; the American Bar Association; Maryland State Bar Association, Women's Bar Association and Baltimore City Bar Association.

Ms. Morris graduated from the Syracuse College of Law in 2000. She is admitted to practice before all Maryland state and federal courts.

While in law school, Ms. Morris served as the Notes and Comments Editor for the Syracuse Journal of International Law and Commerce. She was also a Research Assistant for Professor Samuel J.M. Donnelly, of Harvard Law School, where she co-wrote articles for the Syracuse Law Review and assisted in analyzing and editing A Personalist Jurisprudence: The Next Step, discussing constitutional legal theory. In addition, Ms. Morris served as a student attorney in the Criminal Law Clinic for several years defending indigent criminal defendants from arraignment through trial, if necessary.

Ms. Morris received the Dean's Scholarship as well as several CALI Awards for receiving top honors in Insurance Law, Constitutional Law II, Immigration Law, Criminal Law and Capital Punishment Seminar.

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Morris worked for ten years on Capital Hill for Congressman Steny Hoyer, of Maryland's Fifth Congressional District; for CNN; and as a lobbyist on behalf of the broadcasting and wireless telecommunications industries.

Ms. Morris completed her undergraduate studies at Towson State University where she graduated, Magna Cum Laude, in 1991 with a double major in Political Science and Mass Communications. She was also a member of the women's swim team.
